Good morning! I'm in the mood for something glittery, so I'm sharing this sparkly purple card today. I used the awesome Star Stretch stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use code HollyFan10 to save) and I spread some Purple Prism Paper Glitz (Picket Fence Studios) over that and let it dry. It's super sparkly due to all the glitter in the purple glaze, and it's so fun to hold this card and move it back and forth in the light. I didn't want to cover up all that gorgeous sparkle, so I stamped this sentiment with black ink and adhered it to the card.

Good morning! I've got a fun card to share with you today. A Colorful Life Designs (use code HollyFan10 to save) released this fun new Layered Solar System stencil set, and I had so much fun playing with it. This is a set of two stencils, so I placed the first one with the long curved lines down onto some gray cardstock. I sponged a dark blue ink all over and then I removed the stencil. Next, I placed the second stencil down, aligning the planet features with the gray circles and then I randomly sponged different colors onto each planet. For the spaceship, I sponged on some yellow and orange inks for the fire, and I used a glitter gel pen to color in the silvery ship. After I removed the stencil, I used a fine black Sharpie marker to outline the silvery ship. I stamped the sentiment onto some extra gray cardstock, cut it out with a circle die, and popped it up on the card with some foam tape.

After the panel was completely dry, I adhered it to a white card base and then I added the stamped sentiment (Hero Arts).

I just had to see how this would look with some glittery paste, so I pulled out some red and orange Paper Glitz from Picket Fence Studios. I placed the Asteroids stencil over some black cardstock, taped it down, and then spread the red and orange Glitzes randomly over the stencil. After the panel was completely dry, I trimmed it down and adhered it to a black card base. The stamped sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Good morning! I was playing with a new stamp from Technique Junkies and I thought I'd share this easy card with you. I stamped the new Thistle Border with Versamark on some watercolor paper and covered it with silver embossing powder. After I melted the powder with a heat tool, I spritzed the bottom of the paper with water and added some teal liquid watercolor. I used a wet brush to move some of the color around but I kept all the color down around the embossed flowers. Once I was happy with the coloring, I set it aside and let it dry completely. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Four Little Sentiments set with some dark teal ink and I glued this panel to a teal card base.

Good morning! Yesterday, I promised to share a card that does NOT have glitter on it, and here it is. The Cosmos stencil reminds me of the trails and rocks from when I used to go hiking, and the ephemera evokes the signage and sights from the trails.

I placed the gorgeous new Glittering Heavens stencil over some black cardstock and taped it down. Then I spread some glittery gold paste over the whole thing and let it dry. I stamped the sentiment (Technique Junkies) and trimmed it down, and then adhered it to the center of the stenciled panel. I love how sparkly this is!

Good morning! Did you see the new stencils release at A Colorful Life Designs yesterday? I was inspired by the whole "galaxy" theme so I searched through my stamps and found this sentiment and the astronaut (Hero Arts). I pulled out my glitter pastes and found two shades of glittery blue that would be perfect with the astronaut.
I placed the new Contrails stencil over some white cardstock and then carefully spread the light and dark blue glitter pastes randomly all over the stencil. After I peeled the stencil off and washed it, I set the panel aside to dry. This gave me plenty of time to stamp the sentiment and the astronaut and trim them down. I used a glitter pen to color in parts of the astronaut with a silvery/glittery finish on his helmet, his boots, and some of the piping all over his suit. Once the stenciled panel was completely dry, I glued it down to a white card base and then added the sentiment and the astronaut.

Good morning! Technique Junkies has a wonderful new release today, and I used the beautiful new Thistle Border stamp along with a couple of previously released stamps to make this card.
The Thistle Border was stamped twice to create a grounded background. I stamped it first with a medium pink ink along the bottom of the white cardstock. Then I stamped it again with a lighter pink ink but I shifted it slightly above and over to the left a bit. The darkest pink ink was used to stamp the large Field Flowers on the right side, so as to give the impression of some flowers up close. Finally, I stamped the Hello Gorgeous sentiment with some black ink at the top.

I used the new Astral Swirl stencil on my card today. I decided to play around with the "swirling" motion of this stencil and I placed portions of the stencil all around the edges of a white cardstock panel. I brushed some coral ink over the stencil, varying the intensity of the orange color here and there. I love the feeling of movement that I see with the dotted trails. Lastly, I added some fun spring-themed ephemera from my stash and adhered my stenciled panel to a white card base.
