Hi everyone! Time got away from me this week, but I wanted to share this week's CAS challenge card with you. The
CAS369 challenge is to make a clean and simple card with a St. Patrick's Day theme, or you can use greens or go with a lucky theme. I decided to go with greens and I played around with several different green inks before coming up with this card.
I really wanted to play with my new hexagon stamps and matching punch, so I stamped several different patterns in Garden Green, Wasabi, and Pistachio inks. The background was stamped with Wasabi ink that was brayered onto the scratchy grid stamp, and I stamped the ink blobs with Garden Green ink. The sentiment was stamped with Garden Green ink and then I adhered the punched hexagons. I love how this fun card turned out!
I used these stamp sets from Stampin Up:
Six Sided Sampler (hexagons)
You've Got This (scratchy grid background stamp)
Perpetual Birthday Calendar (ink blobs)
If you'd like to play along with us in
this challenge, share your card and use CAS369 as the keyword over on SCS. We'd love to see what you create!
