I can see you furrowing your brow now - stretchNbubbles? Huh?? LOL StretchNbubbles is the name of a fun online store where you can get all kinds of digital stamps. They also happen to be the sponsor for this week's Belli Challenge. Our challenge this week is to use chipboard on our cards and/or projects.
I chose to use this cute Dot Cup image for my card today. Doesn't that cup of hot cocoa look so warm and cozy? Mmmmmmmm.......... I colored this with Copic markers and shaded around the bottom to give it a little dimension.
The chipboard swirl was sprayed with Creme de Chocolat Glimmer Mist, but it was just too flat-looking. I dabbed on some Antique Bronze distress stickles over the top to give it some little chunks of shimmery "cocoa powder" - sort of like someone stirring a chocolate swizzle stick into their cup. Mmmmmmm........ Are you licking your lips now? Hee hee!
Come play along with the Belli Challenge this week. Just pull out that chipboard that you've got stashed away and have fun decorating it to go with your card. When you upload your card to SCS or PCP, please use keyword CBC79. Don't forget to add your link to the Mr. Linky widget on the Belli Challenge blog.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!
