I decided to go in a different direction with some bold red and green Christmas colors on this card today. I placed the Gingerbread House stencil on a white cardstock panel and sponged some red paint over the solid house and let it dry. Then I placed the detail stencil over the red house and spread some white paste over that for the snowy look on the roof and windows. After that was completely dry, I used the house mask (the part that was cut away from the stencil) to cover the red house and I placed the new Starry Fa La La stencil over that and brushed some green ink all over the background. This panel was adhered to a black card and I glued the sentiment (Hero Arts) onto the red house.
