Good morning! Did you see the new stencil release over at A Colorful Life Designs? We are all about the holidays this month, and it's my favorite time of the year! The holiday card ideas are flowing and I'm inspired by all the wonderful new stencils.
My heart truly skipped a beat when I saw the stunning new Baroque Swirl Snowflake stencil. I placed this stencil over some watercolor paper and then spread some white stencil paste over the entire panel. After I removed the stencil, I set this panel aside to dry completely while I stamped and trimmed the sentiment (Hero Arts). Then I pulled out some distress sprays and just had fun spraying, using some paper towel to dab the sprays from the top of the stenciled paste. When the sprays were completely dry, I replaced the stencil over the paste and covered that with a glitter paste for that extra shimmer. After this panel was dry, I trimmed it down, adhered it to a white card, and added the sentiment in the center.
