Good morning! Today I have a fun card that can be used for a non-traditional Valentine card or for a "thinking of you" type of card. I love the new Heart with Options stencil from A Colorful Life Designs - just look at those cool decorative hearts! I inked up each heart with a different color and then cut them out with a circle die. After I found the matching cardstock colors for each heart, I die cut a slightly larger circle and glued the hearts to their corresponding color layers.
When I put these three hearts onto a white background, it just seemed a little too plain. So I grabbed the new Multi Shadows stencil and lightly brushed a pale purple ink over the whole panel. After I glued the three hearts to the stenciled panel, I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) with the purple ink and then adhered this panel to a purple card base.
You can use this code, HollyFan10, to save 10% off any of the stencils, stamps, and Card Bling at A Colorful Life Designs. The January release is full of wonderful new designs, and you know I love all the Card Bling (yes, I actually bought all of them!). Have a great day!
