Good morning! I love the postage trend that I've been seeing on cards over the last several months, and I thought I'd try to create something unique. I started by placing the Cute Love stencil from A Colorful Life Designs over a green card and I brushed a darker green ink over the entire card. Then I pulled out the new Heart with Options stencil and placed it so that the large open heart was in the center of some white cardstock. I brushed a pale green ink over this large open heart stencil, and then I repositioned the stencil so that this decorative heart was inside the pale green stenciled heart. I brushed a darker green ink over this, removed the stencil, and die cut this with a postage stamp die (Taylored Expressions). With a dark green ink, I stamped the 10 cents in one corner and the LOVE in the other corner (Concord & 9th). This postage stamp was adhered to the green card with some foam tape.
How fun is that? Just think of all the different colors you could use to recreate this card. I haven't decided if this will be a Valentine card or a birthday card or an anniversary card. What do you think?
