Good morning! I really love the new Spring Buds stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, so I have one more card to share with you featuring that stencil. Sometimes when I've been watercoloring or doing mixed media, I will smoosh some white cardstock into the leftover inks/paints to soak up the colors. Why waste all that ink or paint, right? So I have a little pile of papers in all kinds of different colors, and I pulled out this one that has some pale green with touches of yellow here and there.
I placed the Spring Buds stencil over this colored paper and brushed some darker green ink over the panel. This panel wasn't distressed enough, so I splattered some white paint over this and set it aside to dry. I die cut this with a rectangle die and then I cut some white cardstock with a layering scallop die. I used the same green ink from stenciling to ink up the edges of this scallop rectangle. I glued the die cut sentiment (Concord & 9th) to the center of the stenciled panel, adhered this to the green scallop rectangle with some foam tape, and then adhered this to a white card base.
Feel free to use this code, HollyFan10, to save 10% off your entire order, excluding Master Creator Bundles, from A Colorful Life Designs. I know you will want this Spring Buds stencil in your craft room along with all the gorgeous colors of Card Bling. Have a beautiful day!!
