Good morning! Did you see the new Hydrangea stencil over at A Colorful Life Designs? I swooned when I saw this one, and I had fun inking this stencil up. I started by placing the Hydrangea stencil so that the flower was in the lower right corner of a white cardstock panel. I brushed some pastel blue ink over that and then removed the stencil. I brushed some more blue ink over this stencil onto some masking paper and I fussy-cut the flower mask. I placed this mask over the blue flower on my white panel, cleaned off the stencil, and placed the stencil above the masked-off flower. I brushed some pink ink over this, removed the stencil and cleaned it off, then placed the stencil to the left of the masked-off flower. This time, I brushed some pastel purple ink over the stencil. I removed the stencil and the mask and put this panel into my MISTI to stamp the sentiment (Kristina Werner stamp).
I cut this panel with a stitched die and then I ripped off the outer edge where the stitches were along the panel. I wanted that funky distressed edge. I wrapped some sheer white ribbon around this panel and tied it into a knot. This panel was adhered to a purple layer that was die cut with the same stitched die and these were glued to a white card base.
