Happy Wednesday! Today is Belli Challenge day, and this particular belli proved to be a real challenge for most of us Belli Girls. We are using our special Belli Sketch #2 AND incorporating flat bellies with it. What's a flat belli? Anything that is flat - stickers, ribbons with NO knots and NO bows, punched cardstock, glitter, etc... No bumpy embellishments are allowed with this challenge. :-)
For my card, I added layers of lace and then ribbon over the top of the lace for my flat bellies. I used a whole lotta
Killer Red Tacky Tape to make sure my lace and ribbons stay good and stuck on my card.
The old-timey looking Newspaper Ads is a wonderful Scrapblock from
Cornish Heritage Farms, and I also used their Classic Essential Expressions for my sentiment. I sponged some Tea Dye ink over the edges of the stamped Newspaper Ads, and I randomly splotched some more Tea Dye ink on the lace.
When I showed this to my husband, he said "Cool! It looks like a garter belt!" ROFL! I did NOT intend for this to look like a garter belt, but ya know, he's
right. How serendipitous that I used the anniversary sentiment on this!! :-)
