Inchie Rainbow of Butterflies

I have found that being challenged to make inchie cards really inspires me to try things outside my normal scope of stamping. I am loving the inchie sketch challenges that Lisa is posting on the Inchie Inklings blog. Here is my card for Inchie Challenge #6.

I stamped the French Script backgrounder with a soft brown ink first, then I cut my inchies apart. I stamped a small butterfly in the center of each inchie and colored it with Copic markers. Then I sponged some distress ink around each inchie to match the color of each butterfly.

Stamps:
Vintage Butterflies (Saturday Evening Post) from Cornish Heritage Farms
French Script backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms

Ink:
Tuxedo Black Memento

Ranger Distress inks:
Barn Door
Mustard Seed
Spiced Marmalade
Peeled Paint
Dusty Concord
Chipped Sapphire
Antique Linen

Paper:
Simply Smooth White from Cornish Heritage Farms
Simply Linen Black from Cornish Heritage Farms

Other:
sponges
Copic markers

This turned out great Holly - I used this sketch as well (with a very different look to yours as the end result!). I love the different colours for each butterfly inchie here!
