Belli Challenge #80 - Flourishes

This week's Belli Challenge is to use flourishes. You could use any flourish-type stamp, chipboard, rub-ons, or even rhinestones. If you need more ideas using flourishes, check out with the Belli Girls have created over on the Belli blog.

CREATIVE BELLI CHALLENGE DESIGN TEAM CALL!
We are looking to add some talented stampers to join our team for the first 2010 term, which runs January 15th-July 1, 2010. ANY stamper, scrapbooker or papercrafter is welcome to apply! See all the details on the Creative Belli Blog!!!

For my card, I used a large chipboard flourish and covered it with Weathered Wood distress crackle paint. While that was drying, I stamped the Thomas Kinkade image with a brown permanent ink, and then covered it with Rock Candy distress stickles. Love this rock candy!

The card base has been stamped with the Weave backgrounder, and the sentiment was cut out with a Nestabilities Oval die. Then I sponged some brown ink around the edges of the card, the oval, and the dried Kinkade image. I love the rustic crackled look of this card. I am giving this to my Grampa for his birthday, which is today! Even though he won't see this, Happy Birthday, Grampa!!

Now head on over to the Belli blog and see what the other gals have created with flourishes. Create a card or project with flourishes and post your link to the Mr. Linky widget. If you upload your card to SCS or PCP, please use keyword CBC80.
