December Stamp of the Month - CHF
This is a card I created using the Stamp of the Month from Cornish Heritage Farms. This collage-style Santa lends itself to so many different styles of stamping. I chose to go with a distressed and crumpled look for my card. You can see what the other CHF gals created by checking out the gallery HERE.
You can't go wrong with a distressed look. Just stamp the Santa image, use copic markers to color in the leaves and berries, sponge the edges with a brown ink, rough up the edges and then crumple it up in your hands. It's so much fun to just get tough with the cardstock. LOL Just be careful when you open it up so you don't rip your image in half. :-)
The background is even easier. Just cut a sheet of designer paper, rough up the edges, and then crumple it up. Flatten it out again and then tape it down to your card base. Add some ribbon, adhere your Santa image, add some buttons, and you're done.
If you order this Stamp of the Month from CHF in December, you get a packet with instructions for making Jean's gorgeous card. A color copy of Jean's card is included so you can refer to it while making your own. Wanna go shopping? HERE ya go! :-)
