Glimmered Snowflake Star Ornament
I just got this gorgeous Swirling Snowflakes backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms, and I knew I had to make a star ornament with this.
I stamped the backgrounder with Versamark onto five sheets of Smooth White cardstock, covered them with the clear embossing powder, and heated the powder with the heat tool. Secondly, I sprayed each sheet with the glimmer mist (in a mini mister bottle - see *Note* below) and wiped off the excess liquid so the white snowflakes would show through. Third, I die-cut each sheet with the 3D 5-point star die. Lastly, I glued each of the points together and added the ribbon to the top. Easy peasy. :-)
*Note* - my glimmer mist was clogged up and wouldn't spray. I transfered some of the liquid to a Ranger mini mister and labeled it for future use.
I hope you can see how shimmery this is. LOVE this backgrounder! It's so elegant and versatile. You can see more ideas for this backgrounder in the CHF gallery HERE.
