Faux Patina Leaf Wreaths

I created these a couple of weeks ago for Cornish Heritage Farms using the Faux Patina technique seen HERE. I had so much fun making these even though my fingers turned all kinds of different colors. LOL

Basically, I started by doing the Faux Patina technique with the leaves and let those dry. I actually let these dry overnight, and then I cut out all the leaves the next day. I wanted to make sure they were completely dry.

I cut out a large circle with my Nestabilities die, sponged all over it, and stamped "Autumn" in the center. Then I arranged the leaves on the edge of this large circle and glued them down. The wreaths are finished off with a bow on the front and a loop taped onto the back.

I hope you check out this technique and try it for yourself. I guarantee you will love the sparkle! Experiment with different colors and see what happens! :-)
