Chrissy's Belli Challenge this week is to use hardware on your card. It can be brads, clips, buckles, slides, staples, etc. Pull out those boxes of Hodgepodge Hardware and go through the hardware in there. Play with some that you haven't used in a while (or at all....).
For this card above, I chose to keep it simple, and I used a silver Fastenator staple to adhere the vellum to the cardstock. I have tons of these staples, and I just don't use them enough. Time to pull them out and play!
Stamps: Penny Black and Verses Rubber Stamps
Ink: Stazon Black, Celery, Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose
CS: White, Celery dp, Regal Rose, Vellum
Hardware: Silver Fastenator staple
For this puppy card, have you seen that weird rectangle shaped piece of hardware? I stared at that thing for hours with no clue what to do with it. Somehow it finally dawned on me that hmmmmmmmmmmm.......... a piece of ribbon going this way, and another piece going that way........... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........ it could work...... I still don't know if that is what this hardware piece is actually for, but it looks okay on this card.
Stamps: For Father
Ink: Timber Brown Stazon
CS: Blue Bayou, Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory, retired dp
Hardware/Misc: rectangle piece and brads from Hodgepodge Hardware, twill tape ribbon, distressing tool from the Cutter Kit, watercolor pencils and blender pen
If you upload your card to SCS, please use keyword CBC7. Leave a comment on Chrissy's blog with the link to your card to enter for a chance to win some blog candy.
