Christmas Botanicals - BYSHC Linky Party

Good morning!  There is a new Linky Party over on the BYSHC blog for their annual Spring Into Christmas challenge, and I'm entering this card today.  I fell in love with The Greetery's latest holiday release and immediately played around with these new stamps, dies, and stencils.  If you're in the mood to add to your Christmas card stash, share your creations over on the BYSHC blog.  We'd love to see what you've created!

 

Zig Zag Hugs

Good morning!  Have you seen the gorgeous new stencils in the April release at A Colorful Life Designs?  This month is a fun mix of geometric designs and large circles which are perfect for card backgrounds.  I used the new Throwing Zig Zags stencil for the background on this card.

I brushed some coral ink over the Throwing Zig Zags stencil onto a soft coral panel and trimmed it down.  This was adhered to a brown base and then I added the white die cut oval to the center.  The die cut flower (Concord and 9th) was die cut, ink blended, and glued onto the white oval and then I added the die cut sentiment (Altenew) over the bottom of the flower.
