Good morning!  A Colorful Life Designs has some of the best fall stencils ever, and one of them is this new Geometric Leaves stencil.  I placed this stencil over some watercolor paper and sprayed all over with several colors of distress sprays.  After this panel was completely dry, I trimmed it down, wrapped some linen thread around it, and adhered it to a mustard card.  The sentiment (Honey Bee Stamps) was stamped on mustard cardstock and die cut, and I added some rusty orange leaves (Concord and 9th).

Hello Dotted Autumn Leaves

Good morning!  Are you enjoying this fall season?  Here in Texas, it's mostly green and brown everywhere, so I took this opportunity to make a colorful fall card.  I placed the Dotted Leaves stencil from A Colorful Life Designs over some white cardstock and I used some small brushes to ink up each leaf with a different color.  After I adhered this panel to a rusty orange card, I added a fun little die cut pumpkin scene on vellum to the card (Concord and 9th).

Smoky Swirls Autumn Days

Sistahhhs!

Good morning!  A Colorful Life Designs released some great new stencils this month, and I've used two of them on this card today.  If you've seen the movie Hocus Pocus, you might recognize the purple hair silhouettes on this card.  This is such a fun new stencil with some great sentiments.  

I started by placing the new Mystic Strands stencil over a pink card and I brushed some pink ink over that.  Then I used the new Sistahhhs! stencil and positioned the silhouettes at the top of the pink card and then I brushed purple ink over that.  I repositioned the stencil to center the sentiment below the silhouettes and brushed purple ink over the Sistahhhs! sentiment.  For the final touch, I added some Crystal Iris Purple Potion Card Bling to the card.

Rustic Pumpkins

The new challenge over on the Pink & Main blog is to make a project with your favorite things on it.  I love the fall season and pumpkins and the contrast of rustic/distressed versus sparkly/shiny things.  I played around with some paints and a woodgrain embossing folder to create the background, and then I put the pumpkins together with the die set from the newest Crafty Courtyard kit.  This kit came with a bag of sequins which were perfect for this card so I scattered those all around the pumpkins.  For the final touch, I added some linen thread bows on the pumpkins and then adhered the sentiment (Daisy Days stamp set) near the top of the card.

Noel Snowflake

I placed the Stellar Snowflakes stencil over some black cardstock and spread some metallic icy blue paste over one of the snowflakes.  Once this was dry, I cut the snowflake out with a circle die and placed it onto a pale blue card.  After I added the die cut sentiment (Concord & 9th), I added some Metallic Cool Water Blue Card Bling around the black circle and in the center of the snowflake.

Double Snowflakes Peace

There are two snowflakes on this large stencil, and I wanted to use them both.  I placed the Stellar Snowflakes stencil so that one of the snowflakes was in the center of a white cardstock square.  I brushed some turquoise ink over this and then removed the stencil.  I turned the stencil around and placed the second snowflake over the turquoise snowflake, and then I brushed some purple ink over that.  I layered some purple cardstock behind this snowflake panel and adhered to to the top of a white card, and then added the die cut sentiment (Concord & 9th) at the bottom.

Deck the Halls with Pink Snowflakes

There are two snowflakes on this large stencil, and I wanted to use them both.  I placed the Stellar Snowflakes stencil so that one of the snowflakes was in the middle of the left side of a white card and I brushed a soft pink ink over that.  Then I removed the stencil, turned it around, and placed the other snowflake above the pink snowflake and I brushed a darker pink ink over that.  I moved the stencil to place that same snowflake below the middle one and I brushed the darker pink ink over that.  Finally, I added the die cut sentiment (Concord & 9th) and some Metallic Silver Card Bling.

Dotted Leaf Fall Y'all

Good morning!  Have you seen the new stencil release over at A Colorful Life Designs?  There are some wonderful new fall, moon/stars, and Halloween designs to play with this month.  I pulled out the new Dotted Leaves stencil and I had a blast!  I inked it up with three different colors (purple, green, blue) and turned the stencil each time I used a new color.  I used the purple ink to brush over the sentiment from the Pumpkin Latte stencil (released last year) and cut that with a circle die.  After I cut a larger circle from purple cardstock, I glued it behind the white sentiment circle and adhered it to the stenciled card.  Some die cut leaves in purple, green, and blue cardstocks were adhered randomly as well as some Crystal Metallic Safari Card Bling.

Dotted Leaf PSL

Good morning!  Does it feel like fall where you are?  It's not quite there yet here in Texas, but at least it's not hovering around 100F degrees anymore.  When I saw this adorable Dotted Leaves stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, I really wanted to make a PSL-type card.  I placed the Dotted Leaves stencil over a kraft card and brushed kraft ink all over the stencil.  After I cleaned off the stencil, I positioned it again over the little pale orange cup and brushed some soft orange ink over the leaf on the cup.  How cute is that?

I finished assembling the PSL cup, added it to an orange die-cut oval, added some dark cayenne stripes to the card and affixed the PSL cup/oval and the sentiment (Honey Bee Stamps) to the card.  Some Satin Matte Gold Card Bling was the final touch on this fun card.

Autumn Filigree Leaf

Good morning!  I fell in love with the new Filigree Leaf stencil from A Colorful Life Designs as soon as I saw it.  I immediately placed this over a white cardstock panel and brushed some brown ink over this stencil.  After I brushed more brown ink around the edges of the panel, I used a distress tool to rough up the edges.  I stamped the sentiment (Honey Bee Stamps) with the same brown ink and then adhered this to a brown card.  For the final touches, I tied some linen thread into a bow, glued it to the leaf, and I added some Satin Matte Copper Card Bling all around the card.
