When she showed me some of her ideas, I was blown away. This gal can DRAW!!! I seriously cannot wait til her stamps are available for sale (September 1). You'll probably see me posting and gushing about Chrissy when I've had a chance to play with her new stamps. :-)

Check out what the other team members have created:

Belli Challenge #26 - Felt

Hello again! Are you ready for another Belli Challenge? This week we are using felt on our projects. Felt flowers, felt ribbon, felt fabric, whatever ya got. :-)

I wanted to play with my felt flowers (Felt Fusion from Stampin Up), and to my surprise, they match up pretty well with the new In Colors!

On this card, I have used the new Tangerine Tango cardstock and the new Bella Rose designer paper. For my ink colors, I used Tangerine Tango, and a stamped off Kiwi Kiss for the swirls behind the sentiment. Kiwi is actually a little bit darker, but I wanted the sentiment to stand out, so I stamped off the Kiwi swirls on scratch paper first, and then onto my Vanilla cardstock.

Come join us in the Belli Challenge. Make a card or some other project with felt, and upload it to your blog or to SCS. If you upload to SCS, please use keyword CBC26. Make sure you post a link in Chrissy's comments so you are eligible for her prize drawing! :-) PS - July 23rd is her birthday! Wish her a happy day when you post your comment.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs, All Holidays, Baroque Border wheel
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango
CS: Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Bella Rose dp
Other: Old Olive poly twill ribbon, Felt Fusion flowers, Ice square rhinestone brad (green)

Bella Rose Blooming card

I wanted to play with some of the new In Colors and the new Bella Rose designer paper. Isn't that paper gorgeous? It will be in the new Fall/Winter Stampin Up catalog. Just a few more weeks and we can have these in our hot little hands!!! I'm so excited!

I used sketch AMYRS31 for this card. Do you see the little scallops on the new green Kiwi Kiss paper? That is the new Scallop Edge punch. I love it!

The red paper is called Riding Hood Red, the green is Kiwi Kiss, and the pale soft pink is called Pink Pirouette. The other colors that will be introduced are Pacific Point (nice rich blue), Baja Breeze (softer blue), and Tangerine Tango (nice rich orange). These colors will be fun to play with.

I hope you liked this little sneak peak! :-)

Stamps: Blooming with Love

CS: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Bella Rose designer paper

Belli Challenge #25 - envelopes

This week's Belli Challenge is to create something using envelopes. I made some cocoa holders with a couple of regular business sized envelopes. It is quick and easy - seal the envelope, cut it in half, stamp your background (if you wish), and crimp just the bottom envelope. Don't crimp the upper half of the envelope.

You can go crazy with any kind of images to go on the top (outer) half of the envelope. I kept mine simple so I can slide the bottom crimped half up inside without it catching on brads or eyelets or ribbons. These are fun! Try one!

When you upload your envelope challenge to SCS, please use keyword CBC25 . If you need more inspiration, check out these blogs:

Glimmered Bookmark Tag

I wanted to try a tag tonight, just for something different. This turned out to be a lot of fun, and I think I'll make a bunch of these for bookmarks for my friends and family.

I sprayed 4 different colors of Glimmer Mists onto the tag and let it dry before stamping all the different images on it. I hope you can see the shimmer and sparkle of the Glimmer Mists. It's so pretty in real life.

All these stamps are from Cornish Heritage Farms. I've listed the names of the sets below:

Belli Challenge #24 - circles

Today's Belli Challenge is to use circles on your card.  You can punch them out with circle punches, stamp circles on your card, or even have polka dotted paper on your card.  :-)  Just get some circles on there some way.  Look closely and you will see that I used a silver zig painty pen on the bell and on the snowflakes.

These stamps are all from Cornish Heritage Farms.  I just had to play with some fun colors and some fun Christmas images to celebrate Christmas in July.  I sort of cased this layout from Kimmie - here is the card I was looking at:  Frog of Faith - circle card.  Scroll down and you will see her circle card.  :-)  Thanks, Kimmie!

Why don't you play with us?  Show us your circle cards!

Stamps: Heart Warmers, Christmas Cheer  (Cornish Heritage Farms)

Ink: Pixie Pink, Bashful Blue, Celery, Black stazon

Grrrrrrrr.............

I have gone into the HTML coding 5 times now to try and correct the spacing and line breaks in my previous post. It STILL won't accept my changes, so my apologies for the crazy jumbled posting. Grrrrrrr...................... now I remember why I hate programming. Brings back memories of all those all nighters I pulled in college!

Kim's Sketch Challenge - SBS9

Which card do you like better? I stamped the sentiment in different areas on each card..... not sure which way I like it the best..... so I'm showing you both. LOL

Kim has a sketch challenge on her blog today, and I just had to try it out. :-) Check it out here: http://frogoffaith.blogspot.com/2008/07/my-sketch-is-up-try-it-for-challenge.html

Daisy D Scarecrow Harvest

I wanted to play with these new Daisy D paper minis that I picked up at Stamp Salado last month. These are some seriously fun papers.

I inked up the scarecrow and mini pumpkins to create a "scene" - just imagine a field of pumpkins with a scarecrow in the middle. It's hard to see, since I sponged and distressed the edges, but I inked up just the grassy part under the scarecrow and stamped several bunches of grass. All these stamps are from All Things Fall (The Rummage Bin line) at Cornish Heritage Farms .

I had cut the red panel behind the scarecrow from Ruby Red cardstock, but I wasn't happy with the pale red color from that. So..... I pulled out the Fired Brick distress ink and inked up the Ruby Red cs. Now I LOVE that rich red color.

Stamps: All Things Fall (from http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/ )

Ink: Fired Brick and Walnut Stain distress inks

CS: Ruby Red, Mustard, Chocolate Chip

Designer paper - Daisy D French Market swatches

Other: Taupe hemp jewely cord, Rich Regal button, Earth Elements buttons, distressing tool, sponge, pinking shears

Belli Challenge #23 - Patterned Paper

This week's Belli Challenge is to use patterned paper on your cards or projects. I went crazy this weekend during a stamping spree with my friend Danita. We challenged each other to do this sketch and that sketch, and I had such a blast! Here's what I created for you:

Clean and simple, right? This came together so quickly. Just a couple of papers, and something to go down the middle, and voila! Paper is from Basic Grey's Lily Kate collection, and the shimmery flowers came from Michaels.

This one came out of nowhere for me. I wanted to play with my Glimmer Mists and I also had some of the Glimmer Mist chipboard. Hmmmmmmm...... putting the two together sounded like fun! I sprayed the looking glass with Deep Plum Glimmer Mist, and then aged it up a bit on the edges with Walnut Stain Distress ink. Paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Fleuriste.

This one is all Stampin Up! products. I used three different papers from the Wintergreen designer papers, and I stamped on the blue paper (swirls) and the green paper at the bottom (words). The stamps are all from Season of Joy - I just love this set. I'm crossing my fingers that it will be in the new catty in August. :-)

Pull your papers out and play with us!
