Welcome to the next stop on the QKR Stampede blog hop. Wasn't Sarah's project great? If you didn't arrive here from Sarah's blog, you don't want to miss what our designers have in store for you! The QKR Stampede Blog Hop starts at www.qkrstampede.blogspot.com, so be sure to start your hopping there.
For my project, I used this adorable Summer Treat stamp with some ice cream designer paper. I wanted this to have a vintage-y sort of feel, so I sponged the edges with some brown ink. The image is watercolored with some reinkers and a water brush.
Since this is our "ribbon cutting ceremony," I did something a little different with the ribbon. Instead of just tying a knot, I folded one end over and over, and then I simply cut a decorative tail on the other end. This is something that I just played around with and somehow it just came together. I rather like this neat effect, and you will most likely see me using this again.
QKR Stampede is giving away a generous $30 gift certificate to one lucky commenter on this blog hop. Be sure to leave a comment at each blog along the way for a chance to win this awesome shopping spree!
