Copper Silhouette Memories

I was playing around with some Distress Spray Stains and I thought they would look really cool with some of the fabulous silhouette stamps from Art Neko.  So I pulled out this adorable couple from the Silhouettes of Children sheet and stamped it with Versamark and then embossed it with copper embossing powder.  I sprayed Tattered Rose, Bundled Sage, and Evergreen Bough Distress Spray Stains in a random fashion all over the copper embossed silhouette.

I loved the aged feel of of the sprayed background, so I did it again on a larger sheet of white paper with the same three colors.  Once that was dry, I stamped this great sentiment (Make a Memory Today stamp), also from Art Neko, with black ink.  The card base and the layer between my sprayed pieces were sponged with some Tattered Rose distress ink as well as some Old Paper distress ink.

These silhouette stamps from Art Neko will look great with any handmade background.  If you have some sprays, pull them out and have fun!  You never know what the end product will look like until it is completely dry.  Check out the gorgeous stamps from Art Neko - they are high quality, deeply etched red rubber stamps.  I'll start having some giveaways of free stamps very soon, so stay tuned!!  :-)
