Move It - Shape It CDs Blog Hop

Welcome to your next stop on the Move It - Shape It CDs Blog Hop!  If you've come here from Beth Norman's blog, you're on the right track.  If not, please start at the Technique Junkies blog so you don't miss any of the fabulous and inspiring artwork being shared today.

Today's blog hop is in celebration of the two new CDs being released by Technique Junkies.  The Move It CD has 25 awesome tutorials on how to create interactive (or "moving") cards and the Shape It CD has 25 super-cool tutorials for creating shaped cards such as a spool of thread, a fisherman's vest, and a fishbowl.  Each CD is $9.95, or if you purchase both, it is only $17.95.  Believe me, you'll want both CD's when you see what we've all created for this blog hop!  :-)

You can find more information about the CDs here - http://techniquejunkies.com/move-it-shape-it-cds.html and you can order them directly from that page.  The CD's are shipping today so you'll have them in your hands lickety split and you can start making all kinds of fabulous cards.

Want to see what is on each CD?  You can see a pictorial Table of Contents for each CD by clicking on the links below:

For my first creation, I used the Poke Through Image tutorial from the Move It CD to create a fun Christmas card.  This type of card is perfect for those long skinny stamps that you've got in your stash.  These stamps are from Paper Smooches.

Isn't that cute?  It's so easy to create this card and you can use up your stash of patterned paper for these cards.  I made a Christmas card, but you could make any kind of card with this tutorial.  What about an Eiffel Tower or a Christmas tree or a vase of flowers in the opening where I have my tall snowman?

For my second card, I fell in love with the Thread Spool Card from the Shape It CD.  This is really funny because I don't sew at all.  LOL!  But I love this wooden spool shape and all the fun sewing stamps and accessories that I used on this card.  The stamps I used here are from Hero Arts.

I hope you've enjoyed my creations today!  I had a great time making these.  Be sure to order your Move It and Shape It CDs today so you can get started on creating some fun cards.  It's time to hop on over to Jackie Kalchert's blog to see what she's got in store for you.  I know you're going to love it!!

I'm on break at work and am taking a peak. (I'm getting my link to work even though it says .ca--my server changed it). Your work is breathtaking. I especially love the spool and how you decorated it.

Super cute and very fun! Lovin' those snowmen! Unfortunately, my front lawn still has enough snow for me to make one of your cuties a little snow buddy!

Of course I like your cards. I always like your work! But I do like the way you gave us a clue as to how the "poke through" card works. Like you, I do NOT sew, but that card is wonderful. I'm liking lots of things about the Shape It cd.
