For my projects, I chose to work with the Heart Picture Frames and the Heart Pop-Up Insert & 5 1/4" Square Card Set. I ordered three frames with pink velvet paper and 3 frames with medium chipboard. Since I wanted to make magnets with these, I knew I would need a little more support, so that's where the chipboard comes in.

Before I began, I traced the frame three times on a magnet sheet and cut them out. I glued the velvet paper to the chipboard, glued the pictures on the back of each chipboard, and then covered the backs with the magnetic sheets that I had previously cut.

To dress them up a little bit, I added some flowers with buttons to each frame. Since these are on my fridge and they will get moved around (busy hands from little tykes), I kept these simple. I like the feel of the velvet and I know the little tykes will have fun with these. :-)

For the heart pop-up card, I piled on the glitter and embellishments. I covered chipboard pieces with paint, crackle paint, and stickles. The sentiment on the front is stamped with red ink and then cut out with Labels 4 Nestabilities. The edge of the sentiment piece is covered with red stickles but it was hard to see against the background paper. So I cut out another Labels 4 shape the next size bigger, and covered it with Star Dust stickles. This card is stickles-crazy! :-)

For the inside, you guessed it - more red stickles. Hee hee! I also stamped the "I love you!" repeatedly on the designer paper with red ink. I cut out a heart from the designer paper and folded it in the middle so it would fold with the pop-up heart. This card was easy to work with - everything is scored so all you have to do is fold and decorate.

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I showed you today. Now it is time for you to hop on over to Lisa Somerville's blog. Don't forget to play along in the Valentine contest for your chance to win a Variety Package of Products! Good luck!!
