Thomas Kinkade Aged Tiles

I tried a technique called Aged Tiles tonight. This comes from the Technique Junkie newsletter. To subscribe, please visit www.patstamps.com for more information about becoming a Technique Junkie.

I really like how this technique turned out. I need to try this with some other TK stamps and maybe some different colors, just for fun.

Both the Thomas Kinkade stamp and the sentiment are from Cornish Heritage Farms. I only used Very Vanilla cardstock, nothing else, and of course, my favorite hardware, Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware from SU. :-)

To get a nice crisp image, I brayered on the ink. I find brayering really helps these Kinkade images to get a nice even coverage of ink.

Stamps: CHF Foxglove Cottage, CHF Home is Best
Ink: Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain distress inks
CS: Vanilla
Other: Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware, dimensionals
